I went to Anime Expo this year again and had a ton of fun! This year I went as Taokaka from BlazBlue.

The entirety of the costume was made by me in just under a week and a half (yes I totally stalled to the very last minute this year lol). The eyes are really glowing, it's not Photoshopped.

So I'm still getting things completely finalized and sorted, so I haven't been able to say much about all of this online. BUT, I'm leaving dA to become a professional ninja. Tomorrow is my last day.
Okay, okay, so maybe not a ninja. But I am leaving to pursue my dream of teaching martial arts professionally.
I'm sad to be leaving all of the awesome people here at dA HQ.
But I won't lie. I AM super excited to be doing what I love.
And don't worry, just because I'm leaving dA $taff doesn't mean I won't still be around. I had my dA account for over 4 years before becoming part of $taff, so I'm not just going to disappear.

My Long Lost Internet Friend
It's hard to explain a value of an internet friend to someone who isn't an online person. Most of the time, people laugh that you have a friend you met on the internet, especially if it's a friend you've only EVER met on the internet.
BUT, I'd like to think that dA is more progressive than that. We're an online community. We GET the whole concept of internet friendship.
Which is why I'd like to ask my watchers for a favor. I'm trying to find an old internet friend. I don't have a lot of information about them.
SO $TheLaurenVerse (https://www.deviantart.com/thelaurenverse) recommended that I try using Reddit. But I need some upvotes if it's ever going to be seen.
